I should have given the Dragon in Flight 2.5 (by Charles Esseltine) that I made from a West Jet napkin to one of the flight attendants or something.
Also, that reminds me how I folded Robert Lang's humming bird just before I got on the plane and someone said "Wow! A humming bird! Nice!". I was going to give her the model, but when I turned around, she was on her cellphone, and I didn't want to interrupt
And, at the origami table in the kids tent at the powell street festival, I folded a Dragon in Flight, and that's how Joseph Wu recognised me. I let him keep the model to give to the kids at the festival.
My wife just evicted my menagerie of paper dragons, unicorns, hippogrifs, pegasi, etc. She said there was enough paper in the house to cause a fire or attract termites.
I had to bring my stuff to my office.
In less than an hour, my officemates started asking for them. Before the day was over, my stuff were all gone.
Im with Malachi . . . I give practically everything that I make away. The response that I get from folding is often the *Wow* I could never do that, if appropriate, I often offer to show them how to do whatever the *that* was. . . . . Granted I tend to fold a LOT of action models ( just wish I knew more of them), though a lot of people lately have been asking for modular pieces . . . *snerk* Actually the reason I chose my username . . . *shrug* that's what I get called where ever I go.
i eat everything i fold. see the theory goes, if you consume the soul of creation.. it cannot come to life and eat you. so i eat the origami and absorb its energy and then magically i can poop again....its like the models just like charge through cleansing your body or something...uhmm maybe its "or something"
oh yes...and then after this process i usually give it away. you would be amazed at the reactions people have!

Hrmm somebody on the origami_club community on LiveJournal actually did that a while back. I believe it was Cranes that they made with pastry shells. The pics they sent were pretty cool.
ive seen origami folded into hotdogs...but never a hotdog folded into origami...coinsidence ?! i think there is a conspericy to keep the true talents of folding hotdogs down. if the hotdog companies had any true feelings, they would recognize this art form and make the hotdogs more like paper. like ok..here we go..... I GOT IT!
Step 1 - take many hotdogs and put them in a blender.
Step 2 - turn on the blender with many hotdogs inside.
Step 3 - add some water to the hotdog mix inside of the blender.
Step 4 - turn the blender containing hotdog mix and water on.
Step 5 - remove this (we'll call this mixture combination #87 feild test 3) and spread upn your paper mesh frame wire thing.
Step 6 - let combination #87 field test 3 dry for 1 week outside
Step 7 - remove combination #blah blah from the frame paper wire thing.
Step 8 - fold into your favorite model
Step 9 - take pictures of model
Step 10 - eat :D:D ...no wait............

I ussually give stuff away (ussually by throwing it at somebody who will be all surprised, then pick it up and keep it) But I really like the idea of leaving it in relevant areas, like the hermit crabs at the beach. Fold some bananas and leave them in the fruits section of the supermarket.
I almost always have a change of hear in my wallet to give away. People love those (especially females) and when someone sees one they'll give me the money to make another one for them.
It was weird one day at school. A girl came up to me when she saw me folding, and told me she had some of my stuff displayed on her bedroom wall.
