Hello everybody,
I have a project in my mind to build an origami structure a bit taller than an human.
I want to make it move so i need a material wich keep the shape and resistant to water and also doesnt hurt (because i want people to make to move it
I was thinking about silicone...but i don't think i can fold it like paper exept if i fold it with heat before...
or polyurethane foam but it cant really stayed fold either...

Basicly i need a kind of paper wich is resistant to water the pointy shape doesnt hurt .... i know its a bit hard to understand really what i want to do...but if you have any ideas thay are welcomed.

thx you

Maybe elephant hide? I'm pretty sure you can buy it at origami-shop.com.
Depending on the deadline for your project, pastel paper might be more readily available.

You can waterproof it after you fold it with a clear acrylic spray.

I`m from slovenia as well. I`m not the one that folded the "Cocker Spaniel" so there must be at least 3 of us :D
