new origami book, available now and on the horizon.

roman diaz: cats vs dogs

roman diaz: butterfly origami

seth friedman: bird origami

seth friedman: origami aircraft

seth friedman: noah's ark

shuki kato: origami city

it's good to see so many books being published stateside.

makoto yamaguchi: beauty of origami

unfortunately, far too many previously published models for my liking. but ronald koh's rabbit and lang's hippo may make it worthwhile... though i do like gajardo's hippo better. the kamiya pegasus just looks like his original with more extensive shaping.

Are there lists of models for friedmans books? I really like his designs.

i wouldn't get your hopes up for any of his complex bird models. i have a feeling the most complex model in there will be the cardinal he demonstrates on his youtube page. the other models, i would guess, are simple-intermediate.

That is to bad. Would have really wanted to see the folding process for some of his birds.
