Shuzo Fujimoto modular units. Do you use glue??

Hi all. Does anybody know if the large modulars from the "Twist" book use glue? The ones that use pyramids and have a small twisted joint between them? I have made a few and they dont seem to have a lock and I cant read Japanese so any help much appreciated!
