I have plunged into a huge project; I want to make 1000 paper cranes by August. I am having a problem with one step. When you open up the paper and it makes a shape that looks like a frog mouth, are you suppose to crease the paper all the way to the back?

When I complete all the steps I have a triangle piece under the crane. I don't think it's suppose to be there. Please help me if you can.... Bev

Why do you want to do 1000 cranes ?
why not 100 different models ?

Yay, only 999 Ancient Dragons left to fold.... :-D

And Alexandre, I think you know of the symbolism concerning 1000 cranes, although I agree with you that I'd rather fold many different models than many times the same model.
