I like have folded somthing every week for about 1 years now maybe longer, I usually fold somthing everyday.
I find myself in chemistry lecture folding origami just to stay awake, do any of you have similar situations?
And the first question, how often do you fold origami?

I fold roughly once-a-day, though sometimes hourly. I get bored a lot in school.

I, also fold a lot. I folded three cranes with my ticket stubs while watching Lord of the Rings. I have one notebook in school devoted entirely to origami. I tend to fold at least one thing every day, although, I admit some of them turn out to be Shafer's "Monolithic Rubblestone Boulder".

so you tend to fold at will, with no set goal?
This is what I do, for instance during last chemistry lecture I folded a llama, and a dog, and I managed dont ask me how, but I turned a montroll turtle into an elephant complet with all the legs, tail, tusks, and trunk. I think it is one of my better creations.
Before I seemed to have an real hard time creating somthing with so may points.

I seem to get nervous when I can't fold for a while. did you made the same experience?
lately I've cuttet myself into my right thumb and later that day I broke off a big part of my left thumbnail. it was like hell, because I wasn't able to fold for a couple of days... so hell is a place without papier, isn't it?

I generally surf around Google for things to fold. So, things I fold consciously are usually from there.

I fold almost daily, but it might only be for ten minutes. Most modern designs can take a lot of time to complete, so rather than attempting them in one go, I fold them gradually over several days.
I do a lot of folding on trains or when I’m out and about, and I always keep several models folded to the stage where they can be easily held in both hands and manipulated without a flat surface underneath.
If I'm going on a long journey, I grab one of these half-finished folds out of the glass bowl, where I keep them, get hold of the corresponding instructions and use it to keep me occupied.

Hmm well everytime I am not outside or out of my house I am folding, or looking for origami websites with diagrams. But I dont fold in the car because I will get very carsick

I have been folding for a year or 2. (I can't really remember)
Also i fold alot in school because i know all the stuff they teach me
I use a big stack of sticky notes and get the sticky part off by rubbing it on my desk. I'm very glad that sticky notes are square and small enough so my teacher doesnt see them!

I have a stack of 3x3cm papers that I use in class to make mini modulars. Once my English teacher caught me, but instead of yelling, she asked me to make her some!
I fold once a day, but I can get REALLY busy, for example, I have 5 assessment tasks this holidays! (I'm on school holidays as of today...

Hmm..... I tend to do it in spurts, but so in any given week, I might fold three or four days, but about three or four hours at a time. I hate it when I lose feeling in my legs, but who needs legs for origami anyway?
I'm an avid nail-chewer, but that doesn't stop me from folding

. If one finger hurts to press folds down, I've always got nine more to do it!

Same here; I play guitar so much I get massive cuts on my fingers. They are really painful but folding is paramount!
I also bite my nails but the holidays should reduce my stress levels.
When you lose feeling in your legs, I think it might be a good time to get up and move around a bit though...

Origami is my favourite hobby, and I can't get away from it for long. I'll be doing math, and I just can't help but try to fold something.
Even at school, I love to fold during class. I always do it after I'm done my work so that the teachers don't scream at me. (Actually, sometimes they ask me to make something for them). I like to make modular origami, so sometimes I take all the little papers to school in a little bag and fold them...
