Attempting to design a model from Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Recently I began to crave a certain challenge, and that was to design an origami model of the AT-M6 from Star Wars VIII, The Last Jedi.

Finding that simply modifying an AT-AT model was unsatisfactory (I used Schulz's for reference) I have concluded that I need to find a suitable new base. I am looking for suggestions. Key elements I am attempting to capture:
-The sloped back
-The gorilla-like kucklewalk stance
-The cannon mounted above the head
-The two protrusions from the sides of the chin
-The capsules on the walker's back
It would also be cool if I could form the eyes using a color change, but depending on the complexity of the model, that may not be desirable or feasible.
Does anyone have any suggestions for starters?
