Troubleshooting Inaccurate Creases

As I'm sure many of you know, a small location error in precreasing can quickly compound and throw off the entire model.
I realized too late that a crease in a model I'm folding was a millimeter off (in a 30cm square), and it's throwing off a bisector later in precreasing. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it.
I have two main options: fold the bisector as-is, which might continue compounding; or start over with a new sheet of paper and risk running into the same issue.
What would you guys recommend?
