so, do you guys prefer to burn the midnight oil and fold till late? or do you like to make hay while the sun shines, so to speak?
the only reason it came to mind was because i am about to put in a couple good hours of folding, and its like, 10:30pm.
oh, and i'm new to the forum, so hi everyone.

this seems like a cool place.
and, i don't know why i chose such a stupid name (actually it's a song by sun ra) so just call me nick, if you remember.

I have totally stayed up past 3 AM on many a night, just folding (usually CPs).
On the other hand I usually can't stay up past 2 to finish papers...

I once stayed up until 2AM to finish Kamiya's Ancient Dragon.
After finishing it... I tried admir/play/stare at it for a while...and I accidentally fell asleep. I woke up to find a mangled dragon.

i started folding 1000 cranes mid january with little to no previous origami experience.
when i saw the kawasaki rose i decided i had to make a dozen of them for valentines day, it took me 13 hours to make the first one (11 hours and then i found dan of toasters) and i was up for 3 days straight making them and writing things to cover the paper i was making them with.

I watch television really late on Wednesdays and I fold while I watch my shows. When I stay with my friend, we fold until really
really late!

It's not really
really late unless the sun is up.

actually there's a point where "

really early" [img]

folding at night can be really fun, especially when you have a really dim light so it's really hard to see the creases

Really really late is very relative. There was a time when I went to bed usually at 4am, so staying awayke until 6am would have been really late, but now that I go to bed earlier (around 2am) 4am seems really late to me. Fortunately all the models that where left in my hands when falling asleep survived undamaged

that's surely some kind of origami-magic

Its kind of depressing, lately I've been getting good at putting down my paper and going to sleep.
I miss my late night folds!
I once folded 'till 2 AM, only to tear my paper...

I've only really folded until midnight before. I barely get enough sleep, anyway

Yes that's what I mean... Folding until midnight. My normal bed time (except for Wednesdays

) is voluntarily 8.45 so anyhing past 10 is really
really late for me.
