Quick question that I couldn't seem to find the answer to through the searches...
I'm designing a pretty large model (64x64 grid) with postal wrappin paper that I got at the dollar store, and my question is, would it be fine to wet-fold it and if so, would it be fine to use the damp cloth or spray bottle method?

Well, the problem is that brown postal paper comes in different varieties, and I don't know which one you've bought. I've had pretty good experience with wetfolding it (Koh' pooper and my best Joisel's rat so far), but maybe it was entirely different paper than yours.

And I used spray bottle rather than just a wet cloth, because my paper absorbed surprisingly large amuont of water. However, be careful with box-pleating, I tore Lang's bull moose when I sprayed it a little too heavily...

If I may suggest so (since I've never wet folded anything), I've read that for fine details you can wet only the creases with a paintbrush.

I haven't folded any of Hojyo Takashi's models but I definitely had some influences from seeing his work. I'm going to start over and try to reduce the number of pleats so wet-folding will be a little more practical.

NO!! Your base looks very promising, dont't compromise it because of it. Anyway, I don't think you will have much problem wetfolding it. The problem with Lang's moose is, when you need to do a mountain fold through many layers, something your base doesn't seem to suffer from (yet).

Hah, I think I'm still starting over, but with a new sheet. There are some crucial pleats I need to add to organize the layers on the sides. I basically free-folded the whole thing and got fairly lucky.
It's going ot be my first time wet-folding so I'm a little nervous... I have plenty of paper to practice on though.
