I really really would love to see who did this and try and see if I could learn to fold it!

Does anyone know who did this model and if a CP/Diagrams exists???
Thanks!

This model again, huh? That's almost definitly a multipiece model. I don't think anyone could fold something like that with just one piece of paper, let alone, regular lined paper. And let alone, make it transform. Can't help you with the designer's name though.
If I'm wrong about this being multipiece, I apologize. In that case, I'll acuse it of using cuts. If I'm wrong again, then, then...

I beleive that it's a modular, with cuts, model as well. It is, in fact, a very obscure model as there are very little information on it on the Internet. The closest website I could find was this one :
http://june.blog14.fc2.com/blog-category-2.html I'm not sure if it's related to that particular model but, in that website, there is a gundam figure supposedly made entirely of paper. I can't read japanese so if someone who can could verifiy this site for me...

Sunburst, I have a feeling that theres a bit of cutting and gluing involved in your link.
DaveHavok, I have my doubts that any diagrams ever existed for this model. And yes, it must be multipiece.

Heh, heh, I know that Cupcake! I just wanted to know if that site could be related somehow.

What Sunburst posted is most definitely papercraft and not origami. Papercraft involves printing, cutting out, and gluing together usually hundreds of tiny pieces to make a 3D model. Some of the most complex papercraft can take months to complete. I've tried it a couple times and just don't have the patience for it or get much joy out of it. But there are people who can't get enough of it. To each his own.
As for DaveHavok, that picture has been posted to death and no one has ever found diagrams. I'm not even sure anyone's ever found the site it originated from. And I've heard numerous people say it's actually not Gundam, but rather a different mecha from a series that escapes my mind at the moment. Of course it's obviously modular as well, and might involve cutting. You're probably better off designing your own model than trying to find (more then likely non-existent) diagrams for that one.

Thanks everyone...yeah I agree that this is a multi part piece....sigh...too bad still...it would be cool to do still.
I think it's from a series called Mangizer or some something like that...
oh well the hunt continues.
Thanks everyone
