Hi,

I have been looking at this.

http://scripts.mit.edu/~jasonku/index.p ... relmonkey1

And I thought the CP looked quite possible. I have practically never done a CP and don't know how hard it would be. Is this a particuarly easy CP?

I would really really like to be able to do CPs cos it seems there are a lot of models that only show the CP and nothing else.

Thanks,

Jerry

Well, when the model is boxpleated, it is generally easier to fold and find references. It is also generally easier to collapse.

You are right, it's looking easy, but that doesn't mean anything on CPs. The only way to find out would be to try it. Since it is Boxpleating the first thing to do is to divide it into the right grid (32x32 in this case), then fill in the remaining creases and try to collapse everything into a base. After you've done that it's up on you to add details and shape the model until it looks like you want it to look like.

For some easy CPs look through the links provided in this topic.

Enjoy!

This does look like an easy cp, however, if you have never tried a cp before, this may not be the best to start of with. Feel free to try it though.
