Hi everyone!

Recently, i was browsing through some origami stuff... I bumped into the lunoid. It's a beautiful curved container, however, iam having difficulties making it... I got something similar but the thing is loosely held. I think i have done something wrong in the locking mechanism...

Pls have a look and any diagrams or suggestion is greatly appreciated! :D (link below)

I find using a fairly stiff paper improves the model. Also, Bekkah uses a double lock on the corners and this helps a good deal, too.

Hoo boy...curved folds are weird :P Is there an equation given for those curves or do you have to fend for yourself?

hahaha agreed, the curves do seem to pop out from nowhere.
I should use thicker paper... it might help hold the model in place:P and can someone explain or give hints on how i should start the locking mechanism... I am completely lost up to there. I have the shape but the locks aren't working for me :(

(x – h)² + (y – k)² = r², I guess. Other curves may work, never tried.

The corners fold over and the tension of the model holds it together. Sorry I can't be any clearer than that.
