that's a kind of a bulldog or may be a boxer - well designed and folded without any doubt - but doesn't look really like the french one to me. i'll post a picture of a living one, just have to search for ...

Hmmm. Reviewing this topic now, most of the things in the list have now at least been attempted. (the very explicit exact single character representations from individual games/anime series excepted.)

Most pleasing to discover was origamimasterjared who, in excellent style, took care of his own request:
