My tools vary from needles, clothes pins, sometimes a knife to cut a square piece of paper. And my latest adition to my tool box is my girlfriend's hand nail file, it's perfect for those long and narow folds you need to do without damaging your paper
i have no tool kit just my fingers and their conveiently preattached nails which are perfect to use for sharp creasing

And I don't know what the wooden one with metal tips is called. Got it at a stationary department store in Japan. I just call it a poker. It can form creases, such as prior to pinching a leg in half. The round tips prevent punctures. Usually .
I mostly use just my hands-it is surprising what they can do. I use my thumbnail for sharp creases. When I am working on very small details or intricate sinks, however, I use a toothpick (or mechanical pencil or whatever else is around) to poke up inside the model and help get the small folds accurate. I probably should get some tweezers-I have used them a couple times and they seem to help.
