Could you be more specific about the problem you're having? Step 27 appears to just be a pair of valley folds.

To be more specific, on that 43 step spider is that at step 27, yes they are valley folds, but when I fold them, the layers beneath fold with them, and by looking at the
diagrams, and I am sorry about this link, but this was the only way I could get to it! So please, again let me know what to do, and also, thnx moderators for giving me the tip!

I haven't tried it, so I'm guessing:
On steps 17 & 19, the reverse folds should free up the front flap... and you repeat in back.
Steps 20, 22, and 25, should free up the top of that flap. ...in back also.
(You might be folding too many flaps in ??)
So, when you fold the top of the flap down in step 26, it should be fairly free and loose, so that you can fold step 27.
If it doesn't work, then go back and try to understand the intent of the previous folds (yeah, I know... try anyway, you might see something) to see if you might have misunderstood the diagrams.
This looks like a very nice fold, just tedious and repetitive, requiring slow patience for the first few tries.
Let us know, and pls post pix of the results.

$Bill, I'm using a particular board style that doesn't work well with white text. I don't know how many other people have changed their settings, but I'm pretty sure it's easiest for most if you post in plain black text.
Anyway, welcome to the forums.

$Bill, I have to agree with JeossMayhem, using coloured text leads to problems for many Forum users. I myself can't read your text if it is white because I have a white Forum background. Also using italics for large parts of text makes reading harder.
I changed this and your Link into a working one.
Good luck with your project.
