I see that Origami for the Connoisseur is out of print..and it seems pretty scarce on used book sites in that the going rate is about $74 USD! Are there any sources of that book you know of besides amazon/ebay for a better price??

The spanish version of the book "Origami para Expertos" is still available for cheaper prices, for example there: http://uk.agapea.com/n68483i.htm

This is probably most widespread origami book in the Czech republic. Almost everyone who I know have this book.

one thing to try is to just be patient, if you want the english edition.

historically speaking, it was out of print once already, then put back in print sometime in the 90s. i only just noticed myself that it is now out of print. it already came back from the dead once, so another time is not out of the question...

if you want the book for model purposes, however, the diagrams to most of its contents are available in other sources.

Wow, that's madness!
I got my copy via thebookdepository - 3rd party sellers on amazon.co.uk, only in June last year, and it cost me only £7.43
I really love that book.
