I take a lot of videos for my website. Here are some tips I've learned.

1. Make sure there is plenty of light. I have four 100 watt lights in the four corners of the frame to provide lots of light.
2. Choose a sturdy non-reflective surface to fold on. The non-reflective surface is key. With all that light, you don't want a lot of glare. I use a piece of posterboard taped down so it doesn't move.
3. If possible, point the camera straight down at the surface. A tripod works best for this.
4. If your hands will be in the video, make sure to remove jewelry. It can create glare and be distracting.
5. Speaking of hands, make sure they are not in the way when demonstrating a fold. If necessary, take them out of the frame for a moment.
6. Get rid of background noise. You can use Windows Movie Maker (it comes free on XP and Vista. Go to Start > All Programs) to achieve this. There's even narrate options. You can also add titles using this program.
7. Upload your videos to Metacafe. They will pay you if your video gets enough views. YouTube does not :(

If you need any help or have more questions, let me know! :D

One more suggestion:

Try to make the video over your shoulder - from the viewpoint of the folder - and try to create a script to read from to describe what you are doing on each step.

OR, you could duct tape the camera onto your head.

But then it would stick to your hair...maybe you could wear a helmet, and tape the camera on it.

On second thought, just ignore everything I just said.
