I made the expression on my dwarf's (by Eric Joisel) face, that i formed his hat's lowest part (that became the eyebrows) into a stern look, with the puckered eyebrows it had a dark look, i liked it very much!
Unfortunately i don't have my camera with me, i have had posted more pictures...

You've got to give us more to go on than that. For example, what kind of eyes? Usually they are added as an afterthought, from excess paper that collects around the head.

On the other hand, here's a very old diagram of something I did where the eyes were the main focus: http://www.oriworld.joi.com.br/images/d ... 20Bird.pdf

In joisel models the eyes and face are made from at least three little boxpleated points, and uses the space between the flaps to form the eyes (and with his unmatchable ability, to form the nose by the way with all and holes)
I dont have a pic in hand but i hope it was understandable

If you have a locked cone/pyramid, you can dent it in and out to create eyes. There are the square "montroll" two-tone eyes as well. I'm not sure if he created that style, but its used frequently in his work, as well as Sy Chen's. Sy Chen's model of "origami" written in kanji (I think) makes use of the style for writing, as well other artists use it for various stripes, etc on animals.
