Here is a dragon designed and folded by me. The belly pleats were inspired by Satoshi Kamiya's spinosaurus. I tried to go for a little more cartoonish look.

Designed and dry-folded by Quentin Trollip from an uncut square of Elephanthide paper, 50cm.

I kept the body of version 1, but this one has a lot more volume in the head area, allowing it to be shaped very 3D.
Lost the lower jaw in the process though...

Closed-back and closed-belly.

Normally what the designer does is make the model closed-back, but s/he leaves an extra corner tucked inside that is then pulled out and locked into the other side of the model. At least that's how I would do it; I've never folded a model like that. :D
