Re: What have you folded lately?
I found that out too when I was looking for photos of this beetle to shape it. But when you do search for "kabutomushi" you will find real ones.gab wrote:If you do a Google image search for "samurai helmet beetle," almost all of the results are origami. It seems we've kind of taken it for our own.
Re: What have you folded lately?
Are there diagrams or a cp to this beetle?

I have yet another fishy design:

Another Black Moor by soozafone, on Flickr
This is from a frog base like the original, but I took two of the flaps that formed the caudal fins and split them to give it the full set of pectoral, ventral, and anal fins.

Siberian Tiger
Designed and folded by Quentin Trollip from an uncut square.
Inspired by the book I'm currently reading "The Tiger", by John Vaillant.
I finished the design at about halfway through the book. It is still a work in progress though.
Happy Easter!
