Ooh, you made the ceophilisis (or however you spell it)! Was it me who suggested that? If so i'm greatly honoured- (0% flattery 0% exaggeration) you've done it extermely well!

Satoshi Kamiya's 'Splash!'
Was only a first attempt. Didn't turn out too badly though, just couldn't form the bill properly.
(Will get a photo up at some point, gotta sign up to some form of image uploading site first.)

@Harpseal haha--Yep! I split the big square into four smaller pieces, and used one of the squares for the dino. And you're most certainly welcome (that's what the What to Fold forum is for), and thanks for the comment. ;)
@Liam I can't wait to see! I'm sure it's a nice fold.

There we go, managed to set up a photobucket account. As I said before, the bill isn't technically right but oh well. First attempt and first time folding with that paper! (White mulberry and blue standard tissue. With MC)

Turned out pretty good. i use foil paper few that model, like Satoshi did, and it worked better than tissue or kami.

Yes I plan on having a look for some old metallic wrapping paper at some point, I'm sure we have some. That's the closest I can get to foil paper.

Today's efforts. A first attempt again, folded from regular 70gsm (or whatever weight it is) brown kraft paper

Had problems with the spine bit but I guess it didn't turn out TOO bad.... Will re-fold it at some point. Any suggestions on paper before I do so?

i think it turned out pretty nice, good job. as for paper... try double tissue with MC. that usually works for everything, and the best is: its cheap and customizable
