This video shows the tethered kite filmed with a polarized camera lens. The color change results from the kites tilt and rotation and also from rotating the polarized lens.
The same results would be obtained if the viewer wore polarized sun glasses or the 3D glasses used for movies.

Congratulations on the fold of a Ryujin Tahaorigami!

I also really loved the Hand and the Panda.

Rosemary Browne, origami teacher from Canada, sent me a wonderful gift by mail :): a card that she made and a really cool kind of paper she wanted me to try out: UV Ultra. She taught me how to fold Snowflakes by Tomoko Fuse.

This is Snowflake C created by Tomoko Fuse and folded by me with UV Ultra:

It's a modular model composed by six units. I wish the units would lock together better, but since they don't I had to use a little glue so I wouldn't have to worry about them falling apart.

So what do you think?

THANKS ROSEMARY... I LOVED THE GIFT :D!

I managed to wrangle a large sheet of Lotka into Brian Chan's Wolf spider

Very happy (and a little freaked out) with the result
