“Flapping Bird on a Clear Lake”

About 6 years ago I designed two versions of a model called:
Me and My Shadow
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jM8jiueT_Is
Me and My Shadow - too

Each is actually two flapping birds folded from one sheet of paper.
I decided recently to see if I could fold the same model from a Dollar Bill
I succeeded and called this model:
Money Bird X2

Jeremy Shafer suggested that this model should be named
“Flapping Bird on a ClearLake”
http://www.flickr.com/photos/firstfold/10445294604/

At first I didn’t understand what this meant until looking at the last still of the video. I shot this still on top of my Ipad with the reflection of the overhead light showing as a highlight.
Knowing the Jeremy is a true man of vision, I bent the model in half and reshot the same model with only the top of the model in focus. Now you can see the bird as it lands on the clear lake at midnight with the moon and it’s own reflection in the dark lake.

Thank You Jeremy

What kind of paper did you use for Komatsu's models?
