I'll have to give this one a try. I've been folding Esseltine's VW bug for years. This one is cuter.
Never begin the day until it is finished on paper.

Great folds everybody! There's a few that really catch my eye especially though. Fearless, your tiger beetle is fantastic! I love the eyes, as I've always struggled with them
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....

Thank You!, really glad you like it :) , there's a really EASY trick that i always do to get the eyes like that, you just need to make a small ball of blue tack, open the inside of the eye out completely, put the blue tac ball in and re collapse the paper and shape the eye, hope that helps.

Fish by Jo Nakashima (tutorial here)

The scales were a little confusing, but I think I got it. I've also used white paper and cheated a little with a filter to make it orange!

I had a go at modifying Jo Nakashima's version of Davor Vinko's catfish, fully forming scales - happy with the result

Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton - Issei Yoshino by Phillip Curl, on Flickr

this one was tedious. I think this is one of, if not the smallest rendition of this model ever made. I used double tissue between 2.5 and 3 inches to make it, I don't remember the exact measurement.
