As I know, the smallest model was folded by Spanish clock master and it's size is nearly half an millimetr :)
the model is pajarita

if it`s really half a millimeter, it is not the smallest model...^^
in origami house there`s a crane exhibited that can be hardly seen by a human eye...
so far i only know that it`s been made using a microscope, but, well, i`m sure it is smaller than half a millimeter...

ok heres my addition, its a yoshizawa? ram...and was done with like 2.5 or 3 inch square

the result was under an inch and imperfect, but small at least ... my fingers have grown fingers on the tips of them, and then developed carpul tunnel syndrome, then sank back into my hand and told my hand what happened so now my whole hand is mad :[ i "think" it was fun trying to make this though :)
also as a side note, this is my first photo post.. yay! :)

this too was done with like a 2 inch sqaure minutes after posting the ram and yes the owl actually is only as big as the top of a lighter

hehe, the hand is from a kermit the frog figure

haha one last bit, the owl must have had a lot to drink in his day cause he has a "cauliflower" nose :P
