Pretty smart to add a twist fold in the center, so to add a small hole, without actually piercing the paper
.

I did some display stand variations. I am still working out a heart-shaped one

Dragon skeleton, designed and folded by me
One uncut square of Gerard paper ( 39x39 cm ), super thin ( literally the thinnest paper I’ve ever worked with )
64x64 grid Boxpleat, asymmetric.
Total folding time: over 24 hours.
This model was super complex to fold. First of all the design itself is tricky- it is asymmetrical and has tons of middle flaps ( more than 40 middle flaps !! )
After precreasing i pre-collapsed each part individually, to make the final collapse easier. Even after collapsing I wasn’t sure if I could finish the model, because it is really small and kind of thick. I’m really really happy that everything worked out the way I wanted ( except the neck :/ )
I used some wire and a surprisingly small amount of glue for shaping.

Love the concept and the execution! I had not seen an origami dragon skeleton before

Normally I prefer creating things that move and containers of all descriptions, however the latest challenge seems to have turned my folding towards creatures. A bat, penguin man, hermit crab, dragon and dinosaur in the space of about ten days.
Lots of fun.

Elasmosaurus skeleton, designed and folded by me.
One uncut square of bananafiber paper ( ~60 cm )
boxpleat 48x48
First water dinosaur in my "dinosaur skeleton" series.
It might seem like the layout for this one and the brachiosaurus are very similar, but in fact they are completely different.

Gecko 1.5, my design. Just a 22.5 degree design, I've made some changes in the structure of the head and folded the body a bit more 3d.

A friend of mine was trying to make a flower tower and she came up with this model which is similar yet different. I think I've seen it before but I'm not sure (and I won't bother posting it on the "spot the creator" group on FB since I don't do FB).
Anyway I liked it a lot.

I had been toying around with the idea of showing flight with multiple models folded in different positions for a while, and I realized my
Baby Dragon model would be perfect for it, with a few modifications to make it easier to pose. After I had folded all 4 dragons, I saw the frame and had the idea of positioning them inside it. The frame was too small to fit all 4 dragons, but in the end that was good as it gave the cool effect of the dragon escaping the frame. Sometime I would like to do a similar model with a bird, perhaps with more models so the flight sequence can be made more detailed.
