Today I folded Brian Chan´s Dobsonfly after the CP from his website. It´s a very good beginners cp if very thin tissue foil is used.

Good Job on the Dobsonfly. One of my favorite Insects. I agree that it is a very good beginners cp. It was the first model I folded from a creasepattern. It's fun to fold, I've folded it several times. Here's one I folded recently.

Today I foldeded Satoshi Kamiya's Yellow Bird from foil backed Mulberry tissue.

And my own design, a Backswimmer, folded from foilbacked Lokta tissue.

Thank you Phil for pointing me to this model. It was my first try on a little more complex creasepattern and I´m very pleased with the result :D

That model is really cool looking, what kind of paper did you use?

It looks like tissue foil made with machine-made Thai unryu tissue.

I have never heard of it, do know of a link that tells more about machine-made Thai unryu tissue?

Thanks.

Joseph is right it's unryu/mulberry tissue, backed with foil and regular tissue paper on the other side of the foil. The description for the paper is here
