There won't be much to see here, since I'm relatively new at origami -- less than a year!
I'll probably upload once a week or so.
Enjoy. :}

EDIT; Designs are mine unless otherwise noted.

First design: Flower.

It's essentially a frog base folded from a windmill base.
The paper used is normal construction paper, since at the time I didn't have origami paper and wanted to use something besides printer paper.

Welcome to the forum! I'd love to see your models! :D

Thank you! :}

A lot of my models are fairly simple, but I hope one day to be able to design more "complex" [so to speak] models.

You're welcome! Don't worry. I've been folding for nearly 2 years now and I still can't design any complex models. Only simple and intermediate lol.

A lot of times I just end up folding absentmindedly and end up with some comprehensible result. The problem with that method is that I've forgotten what I've done by the final result.

Nice butterfly! The paper you chose fits the model really well.

Thanks! To be honest, it's just printer paper with a gradient pattern. I hadn't bought any origami paper at the time.

Now, I have a lot of 15x15 cm kami and chiyogami. I have one of the starter packs from origami-shop because I wanted to see what other types of paper are like. Unfortunately, I'm too afraid to fold anything with the specialty paper because I don't want to mess up. xD
I'm working on folding the Flasher Hat by Jeremy Shafer; I've the pre-creasing finished. While I wouldn't exactly say it's super complex as far as models go, it's definitely one of the harder things I've attempted thus far.

Do the easier version in Ooh Lah Lah first.
Once you do that the original will be easier.

That's a good idea. I think I might try that and keep the original one to the side for now.

*I'm finding that diagramming is harder than I originally thought. I'll try to get some up...at least just so that I can say I did it.

Nice design! Yes, diagramming is very time consuming. If you don't have time to diagram it just draw a cp.

In other news, I got Assia Brill's Curlicue: Kinetic Origami. Perhaps I'll make an attempt at it!
