Hey guys

Check out my latest design: Swan

It is from a border grafted bird base. I want to run it through you guys to see if this is original enough.... don't know if other people have similiar design like this....

Nice swan, but I think the recognition problem is the pose.

I've included some pictures to show what I mean.

The first picture is a photo that approximates your model; your model is a fairly good fit, but most people don't see standing swans. Instead, they see swans sitting in the water.

The distinguishing feature is the graceful S-shaped neck. The high wings on the side, also add to the distinctiveness. But, my simple suggestion is to make the neck a little more S-shaped.

Excellent wings! I do have to agree that some neck adjustments could help. The final shaping just seems like it is an odd pose for a swan? That might be part of your recognition issues...

The wings look brilliant, very clean, flowing and neat. I also like the captured stance, although I do not think that's entirely realistic.

Overall, very intuitive model, especially from a traditional base.
