gen 2: suicune entei rakou + ho-oh
gen 3: regiice, regirock, registeel/ groudon, kyogre, reyquaza (does dioxys count) +regigigas
gen 4: uxie, azelf, mesprit + arceus/ dialga, palkia, giratina
gen 5: reshiram, zekrom, kyurem/coballion, terrakion, virizion, keldeo/tornadus, thundurus, landorus

other: mew, mewtwo/latias, latios/cresselia, darkrai/celebi/jirachi/heatran

How about this month we do the gen 1 ones, next month gen 2, after that gen 3....... Until we're done, although generations where you've put a slash, like gen 4 between arceus and dialga, those generation should spread out over two months, because there are two many for one month- some awesome designs would have counted as done by us, but never actually made. Unchosenone, your list isn't the best, but if we follow it, it may be more interesting as the mistakes will add some variation.

I agree with harpseal, The mistakes will add some variation, but I am that kind of person who points out mistakes: Lugia came in gen 2, Regigigas came in gen 4
Mew, Mewtwo= Gen 1
Celebi= Gen 2
Latias, Latios, Jirachi= Gen 3
Cresselia, Darkrai, Heatran= Gen 4

So has palkia and arceus, although it'd be good if someon'd invent an arceus that doesn't involve cutting.

How about we get on with the challenge and if it's been done, you don't have to do it- there's more of a range than most months, so there's enough to choose from. Also, there's nothing wrong with doing something that's been done already.
I'm hoping for lots of entries- i've got a bit bored of not having anything to judge between. The pokemon for this month are: zapados, articuno, moltres, mew and mewtwo.

Here's the pokemon done in this challenge already:

FEB: Volcarona
MAR: Kabutops, Articuno in flight, Snivy
APR: Reuniclus, Hydreigon, Gigalith
MAY: Wooper, Torchic, Gengar
JUN: Klink, Victini
JUL(now): Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Mew, Mewtwo

(i guess ill add that no one made a submission for Hydreigon, Gigalith, Gengar or Klink)

I think it's fine that Articuno's been done already. There's still 4 more pokemon to choose from for this month anyway.
