Let it Rain!
Constraints: no cuts, no glue, MC allowed only for shaping or for preparing sheets, 1 or more sheets of paper (preferably), any convex format works... You should give us some insights about your creation.
As you may know or not, my nickname is papeRain, thus I chose for this monthly challenge a subject close to that: Let it Rain! Feel free to interpret it in your own artistic perception. I am looking forward to see every participation. Feel free to spread the word to every corner where some potential designer may hide!
A last catch: only the first successfully posted umbrella counts / all other umbrellas will NOT qualify as a participation, but I will look at them anyway. Have fun!
Dasa (papeRain)
Edit: I was asked if painting is allowed and I decided that it is allowed, but please mention it in the description so that we can recognize traditional color change versus painting.

Asking for clarification: So only one person can submit an umbrella?
I have a different idea for this one, but it’s still not exactly clear (to me, at least) what you mean by that last paragraph.

Hi, yes, you got it right. I wanted to avoid having too many umbrella submissions, thus only first umbrella posted would count. But umbrella still can be a part of a submission, if it's not only the umbrella (like Mary Poppins holding umbrella would be very fine). I hope it's clear now

Rainy weather
This one is just a proof of concept. I guess it would be possible to fold a really cool colour change model with the person in front and the cloud above in one colour, the rain in the other.

That's a nice idea! I like also the simplicity of your raindrop. Will you work on rainy weather concept some more? I would love to see that possibly really cool color change model!

“MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh no!”

Hi all,
I finally made an account, just for this challenge! i will try to engage in more challenges in the future and generally be a more active member
I think the mask 'let it rain' speaks for itself. It's made form 1 uncut equilateral triangle arches 300gsm, painted.
ps. I tried posting using tapatalk twice, but didn't work. If those posts do show up later on, I am sorry for that and will remove them asap

Hi SteveDC, welcome on board. Don't worry about the other posts, I took care of them while approving this one. It is a little inconvenient that new members can't see their own posts until they have been approved by a Moderator, but the moderation of the first three posts is a very effective way to keep the Forum clean of Spam.
