Monthly Folding Challenge - May 2010

The challenge for May is “Primates.” Primates include great apes (chimps, bonobos, gorillas, orangutans), monkeys, and prosimians (such as lemurs and tarsiers). Humans are primates, but I’m going to exclude them from this challenge.

I think this is an area with a great deal of diversity (esp with the monkeys and prosimians) and an opportunity for some really cool new designs. For some ideas, here is the wikipedia page on primates, which includes links to different types of primates and also includes many photos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primate

Rules:
One sheet of paper, preferably square but rectangles allowed
No glue or cutting
Original, new design,
The judge will be Andrey Ermakov

Have fun and happy folding!

Beth

Sorry Joshua, but we aren't able to watch pictures that are located on your local computer, you have to upload them somewhere (e.g. http://imageshack.us or http://flickr.com). Make sure your pictures aren't larger than a 640 pixel square (on imageshack you can resize them while uploading on flickr use the medium size).

Joshua, if you look at your pictures you will notice that the background is all sharp while the models are blurry. This happens when your camera is too near to the models and can't focus on them. Take a neutral background like a sheet of paper and go further away with your camera, that should improve your picture quality.

the model look better off camera but because its with tissue foil it comes out crumply in the picture. This also has 4 fingers on each hand.
