Hi all.
I am looking for a suitable paper for CP folding. I just visted the old forum http://oriart.ru/forum/11
I wonder which type of paper is this:
Credit to : anermak
and
Credit to: Dao CUong Quyet.
Is there any place selling this kind of paper???
Many thanks.
[Help] What kind of paper is this????
Re: [Help] What kind of paper is this????
It looks like methyl cellulose treated tissue paper to me (one side of the sheet turned glossy as a result)
I don't know exactly what kind of tissue though. I just get mine from the dollar store, can't beat 50 cents a pack =P
If you don't want to mess with methyl cellulose you can get tracing paper from most art stores, lots of people on the forums use that for complex models from what I've seen. You can also grab methyl cellulose there too if you wanna give it a shot. I use elmers paper mache glue which is MC based and super cheap.
edit: I agree with roodborst that last image looks like baking paper, my bad XD That first image looks just like my tissue though.

I think it's either perfect double tissue, or probably tracing paper.

After taking a closer look.
First square. Tissue baking or tracing.
Second the crease pattern. Rectangle of baking paper if I see it correct.
Angel. Maybe tissue but most likely something even better.

The angel could also be folded from Crumpled Paper. VOG members use a lot of that stuff.
Re: [Help] What kind of paper is this????
I believe the first two photos are tracing paper, while the photo of the completed model is VOG paper.
