Is Tyvek a suitable material for Origami?

First, as a courtesy for those who may be unfamiliar with Tyvek...
Tyvek is a brand of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers, a synthetic material; the name is a registered trademark of DuPont. It is often seen used as housewrap, a synthetic material used to protect buildings during construction. The material is very strong; it is difficult to tear but can easily be cut with scissors or a knife.

Tyvek is also widely used for non-building construction applications and is even available in single sheets of "paper" from Amazon and other distributors. Has anyone tried using this material in fashioning origami models? If so,I would appreciate you sharing your thoughts on it suitability to origami in any context.
