Where do you guys usually get your origami paper?

The selection of origami paper in my country is really bad. Only a few different kinds are sold in stores here, and most of the stuff is really bad quality or extremely difficult to work with. This is really killing my motivation for doing origami since the material I'm working with isn't good.
So do you guys have any suggestions for online stores that sell good quality paper (and ship to europe), or paper suggestions in general?

Nicolas Terry operates an online origami shop based out of France: https://www.origami-shop.com/

I actually just ordered a book from there (I live in the USA), and the shipping was very prompt. I know his shop is a popular choice for many origamists.

it depends on what you want to do. if you're looking at doing simple-intermediate models (i.e., most of john montroll) and all you want is kami, certainly origami-shop is a good source.

if you want to do complex-super complex, get comfortable with methylcellulose, making double tissue, and sizing handmade paper like hanji. the nice part about double tissue is that it is extremely economical, and you can buy tissue paper anywhere.

Where in Europe are you located. Maybe if you tell us the country some Forum member knows where you can get good paper in your area.

Apart from the already mentioned origami-shop https://www.origami-shop.com/ , there is also Miyabi https://www.origami-papier.eu/ and the Viereck Verlag https://viereck-verlag.de/ that offer a nice selection of Origami supplies.

Paper suggestions:
Buy an discovery pack https://www.origami-shop.com/en/origami ... 7-827.html and find out what you like.
Make your own Double Tissue https://www.happyfolding.com/instructions-double_tissue and Tissue Foil https://www.happyfolding.com/instructions-tissue_foil .
