fishgoth - elephant

Hi all,

Noob question. I am stuck on fishgoth's elephant (http://www.fishgoth.com/origami/diagrams/elephant.pdf), step 18. Can anyone explain the notation? Is he indicating a squash fold?

nope. just mountain fold it, and repeat behind.
