Paint Tube

Post by Ewelina »

hi,

not doing origami for long, so i'm having trouble with the paint tube witch i have in one of my books.

can you tell me what paper is been used for this? because all the paper i use is too thick. and i don't come any further than the step where you roll the piece of paint coming out of the tube. it just doesn't sit. it falls apart and the rest of the paint tube is not working at all......

please hepl me with explaning what to do...thank you!

greetings, Ewelina

I know the diagram you mean... i have the same book i think... something like the encyclopedia of origami isnt it? I never tried that model but it looks like you would need thin paper to be able to do it and foil backed paper to make it look realistic.

ok, so i've tried once more with another kind of paper.....
and it worked!!! :D :D
i have another book, it's in dutch....
and in that book i have discovered a fault. it says nothing about the lenght of the paper witch should be 1:3. and i've tried it several times in 1:2.
that is why it didn't work...

faulded 3 tubes already...very nice thing to fault really if you once get it... :D

I have been looking for this diagram forever. I would buy the book but it costs a little to much.
