Brian Chan - Atlas beetle (CP)

I tried to collapse this thing and ended up with a sea of points. I can tell which one is supposed to be which appendage, but I can't figure out how to arrange them to make a body... it just looks like a bunch of splayed points. Anyone ever folded this? Here's the CP link:

Wow! that cp looks so ... weird!
first cp I see with such a 'round' pattern
I wonder too if anyone ver tried this one :shock:

Tymalous, the circles just show the overall paper distribution, you don't really fold those.

Oh, I thought a cp was like all the folds you've got to make... :oops:

You should watch this talk by Robert J. Lang. I guess you'll find the part about circle packing quite interesting.
