Reptile with a bulb on its back

Post by Kallijaph »

I am looking for a bit of help with Shintaro Miyamoto's Reptile with a bulb on its back; out of Origami Taneidan Convention Book 6; Step 16-17. I am having trouble visualizing the finished fold. If anyone can take a picture slightly exploded it would help greatly.

For step 16 make a preliminary base on existing Creases. Open sink the tip, that's the largest square in the middle. Then open sink the sides in and out on existing Creases, these are the pleats that run from the borders of the paper in to the middle.
In step 17 you pull apart the layers of the preliminary base as if unfolding it back to a square while flattening the middle part.
