i need help with eileen tans balrog

i am a very good origami guy, since the fourth grade, but they missed a step on this thing, i have read the help but it is not good enough, how do you fold step 7 into step 8, the a,b,c,d thing help a little, but i still cant do it

mister good origami guy, as you can observe in step seven there is a square in which the bird base´s crease pattern is inscribed, over the square are added flaps which join in the corners to get little halves of bird bases on three corners, and half a frog base on the last corner.
now you will take the whole model as if it was a square
make a preliminary base and reverse the bottom angle bisectors, fold the resulting flaps as far as they will go, aand there you have it a bird base with little added grafts on each edge.
remember the image in step 7 is the inside of the bird base and you will have to be careful to keep the edges of the grafts inside the petal fold and the actual grafted halves of bases outside the petals
