Dragon in Flight by Charles Esseltine
Okay, I don't think the creator of this model is very famous, but I like this model. I tried to fold it before, but I gave up because I couldn't get past a step after such a long time (How typical of me!). I remember that I can't get past step 17. It says to unwrap it, but I can't seem to do so. It also says that you have to unfold it partially to do so, then to refold the bottom. So, I'm really confused with this, I hope to get some help!

Not the same model, but the same step:

Re: Dragon in Flight by Charles Esseltine
This is a nice model. I made it with a 28 x 28 black sheet, and it worked fine. Step 17 is the unwrap step, right? That took me about 10 minutes to figure out, but after you get it, its easy. Okay, heres how to do it:Ryuurin wrote:Okay, I don't think the creator of this model is very famous, but I like this model. Unfold to bird base COMPLETELY(not the thing below, only the white part), to where you just have a black triangular shape (step 18)
Sorry, origami_8! I did use the Search tool, but so many results came up, I looked through and I probably got pretty confused, so maybe I missed the other topic...
And thank you so much 123kirby! I think I'll get right back to finishing this model. ^^

What Anna means is, instead of searching for "dragon", which turns up 567 results, it's better to use more specific words to search for. Searching for "esseltine" instead only turns up 21 results.Ryuurin wrote:how do I use the unique search function?
Also, if you use both words ("esseltine dragon" - without quotes) and select the "Search for all terms" option, you get 15 results.
Unfortunately, there's no way to search only in thread titles (as far as I know) and apparently the search has its problems, because searching for esseltine doesn't turn up the better result, which is linked to in the first page of the thread which Anna linked to in this thread... viewtopic.php?t=838
