I am having a lot of trouble with the closing step of this rose, as well as the locking step. I have a lot of experience folding the kawasaki roses, and I have no problems there. However, this rose isn't closing as sturdily as it would imply. It seems that any attempts to precrease all of the folds in does not yield a neater rose, which is a bit counter intuitive. There is a fair bit of bunching once I roll the rose up with the crimps in place. This bunching makes the closing step before locking really sloppy and does not produce the neat parallel creases that are needed for locking. If anyone who has any experience with this rose feels like helping me out, I would greatly appreciate it, thank in advance.
