If anyone is interested I have a few of Pavel's diagrams. You might give them a try which would encourage the making of more diagrams. BEWARE: Some are incredibly difficult. (Think Kamiya+Ermakov) and the diagrams are not always clear.

I vote no. Most of the people who voted yes on this forum most likely won't even fold the model due to its complexity. Don't waste your time Pavel.

On the other hand, there are those who truly would be willing to fold it, but most of these guys voting yes, probably won't.

Now i see your point. Its good of you to tell people why you voted no. I know how difficult it is to make diagrams and the feeling when nobody folds them.

There are also a lot of people who WILL fold this.. its kind of like the ancient dragon, everybody will strive to make it. It's just a fish, not a dragon.

Then go fold some of NPV's released diagrams, fold them successfully (every step with a good end result). I think if people folded some of his currently diagramed models that NPV would be more inclined to diagram this model. I know for a fact his crab, lucanus swinhoei, and mammoth have been diagrammed which are all impressive models with almost no finished folds out there.

You referenced the ancient dragon, but NPV models are simply not diagrammed the same way nor have anywhere near a kamiya-esque folding sequence. Just google kamiya ancient dragon, there are tons and tons of people who have folded that model. 35 people voting to ATTEMPT to fold this model is not nearly the same number.
Please, add me on flickr and tell me what you think!

Ancient dragon is a piece of cake.
Anyways, my point is that most of you are saying "Yes", when I highly doubt you will fold it.

I voted yes because I will try to fold it. if it gets diagrammed. in my opinion if your going to vote no than just vote because you don't even have to see it if you don't want to. you do have a point that not too many people will actually finish it but lots of people will end up trying (i think).

Actually, barely anybody will try it. If you want to try one of his models, then try his spiny king crab (diagram link is in an above comment). Most people want diagrams so they can see how the model works, not how to fold it.

Guys, this doesnt have to get into a debate. He asked for honest opinions and give him honest opinions. Everyone has their own opinion so just leave it a that. Some voted yes, some voted no. There's nothing you can do about that
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....
