Can anyone explain to me why steps 14-15 are necessary for Kawahata's Bunny in Tanteidan 6?

It looks to me like the state of the model at step 14 and 16 are identical...and it's a lot easier just to lift the pleat and tuck the head/ears in than unfold and refold unless I am missing something that happens (which might be what the little expanded window is showing).

I have not folded this model nor have access to the diagrams, but I think step 13 would have been telling to you precrease for step 15 to make it easier. I assume step 13 was just a pleat (mountain fold and valley fold ALL the layers together as one) and 15 is a crimp (open the layers and reverse fold the model on the valley fold then back over on the mountain fold). See the arrows on both sides of the model in step 15? I assume in step 13 it was just on arrow to indicate you fold all the layers as one.

I assume that 12 or 13 is a pleat to precrease the folds needed make the crimp fold in 15. Kinda hard to explain with words but step 15 is just 2 outside reverse folds (it is a crimp but it is easier to do 2 outside reverse folds).

Thanks...that was it. Where the previous steps were just indicating creases I was assuming the outside reverse folds that were coming later. Guess I am just too efficient
