Kamiya's Japanese White-eye

Hi All! -
Couldn't find an existing topic on this model (from Tanteidan Magazine 153). I've tried it a few times now, and I'm clearly doing something wrong because in steps 122-124, I cannot generate a point that is white on both sides. The point in question, as it exists up through step 121, is white only on the deepest, rearmost side; all other available surfaces within the point are colored. So even if I open the point's rear layer (step 122), or, honestly, any other layer, it produces a wider point (step 123) that is only half white, so that it cannot produce double-wide white point by step 124. (I hope that makes sense!) Any ideas on where I'm going awry? Thanks in advance for any help!
