Please can someone explain me how to read a crease pattern and fold a model just by referring it?

I recently completed two c.ps ..one exact and one variation by firstly splitting it into portions...a completely symmetrical c.p I guess into quarters or depending on where the main bisectors are...as it's much easier to work out in smaller pieces...then to become overawed with size....particularly with 40* and larger..
Try it...I'm about to go back and look at all my uncompleted folds and do them on off cuts and scraps....

I guarantee you'll get good at it!!!
