I am attempting to fold the Fractured Star using hexagonal paper. After watching tutorials and a bit of cursing, I've managed to do a hexagonal twist fold. But I'm stuck on steps 10-12.

I can't seem to get that central "diamond" after I twist the hexagon 45 degrees to the right. The layers just don't start/end in the right places on my model. Am I doing the hex-twist fold in the wrong direction? Or is something else wrong?

I did, in fact, do the hex-twist in the wrong direction. I've fixed that now. Step 16 is now where I'm having a bit of trouble. It would probably help if I could see an in-progress image of the step in question.
