for those who are interested. i think there is an error in the diagrams. in step 16, the crease you form appears to intersect with a preexisting intersection. this is either a mistake or inconsequential. if your new crease doesn't intersect, don't worry about it. keep going, it won't make a difference.

thanks- perfect timing, I just got the book.
A tip- (for all models)- make sure your paper is perfectly square. I folded this with a paper 0.5 cm off and the result was...horrid.
