Help with Helmut Gembitzki's Star

I am trying to fold Helmut Gembitzki's Star from Der Falter 31. I am stuck at step 11. The instruction "hintere halfte hochklappen" translates as "lift up rear half" and so I did, but there is no way the model looks like step 12 after doing just that.
Could anyone please help me?
